The Rose & Crown - Oxford~
The Rose & Crown
- Oxford
15 years ago, when the concept of 'Alfresco Dining' was considered as something only done abroad - Mr Hall, proprietor of the 'Rose & Crown' came across our Sierra Heaters at an exhibition in London. Amazed by the concept that people could comfortably sit outside all year round, he decided to trial the idea and became one of our first customers to use Patio Heaters in the UK.
Mr Hall was advised that the most cost effective way to use the heaters was to get them installed to run from the pubs main natural gas supply.
15 years on and the heaters are working perfectly and they are still in a very good condition.
Mr Hall says, "The heaters have been a welcome addition to the 'Rose & Crown' and we couldn't be without them. Our customers can now sit outside and enjoy our vine draped courtyard all year round which has therefore increased our seating capacity, especially during the colder months in Autumn and Winter."~~~463~586~~

The Black Tiles~
The Black Tiles
- Martlesham
After successfully using our Sierra 'Overhead' heaters in the gazebo area at the Black Tiles for 8 years and more recently at
'The Alex'
in Felixstowe, Tim Yeo, proprietor of both these establishments, decided to install our Sierra Natural Gas fixed heaters during the recent refurbishment of the Garden Terrace.
Low running and maintenance costs and ease of use led Tim to believe that
gas
patio heaters were still the best and most convenient method of outdoor heating.~~~463~598~~

Last year 'The House of Bruar' in Blair Athol, Perthshire purchased 6 of our mobile LPG heaters which were to be installed onto their restaurant terrace. The idea being to increase the capacity of the restaurant.
The heaters have proved to be a success and customers can now comfortably enjoy a fantastic meal outside whilst admiring the beautiful surroundings of the House of Bruar.~~~463~606~~

The Fox Inn~
The Fox Inn
- Great Barrington
The Fox Inn is a traditional pub able to seat only 28 people inside but the patio area provides seating for up to 100 with an additional 150 seats around the garden. With its small bar and limited indoor seating space, the Fox Inn relies on its exterior heating to increase trade.
Paul Porter, proprietor of The Fox Inn, chose our Sierra heaters to compliment the traditional styling of his pub and to help extend the friendly atmosphere inside, out onto the patio and garden areas. Paul commented: "I would certainly recommend the patio heaters to other pubs. They provide a welcome extension on summer days and come into their own in the spring and autumn. I have a great biking and hiking trade in the spring and later on in the year when it is not normally warm enough to sit outside, so my customers appreciate the warmth provided by the heaters, and no-one needs to be turned away as a result of overcrowding indoors."
